Stainless Steel Refrigerated Workbench

This Desmon refrigerated workbench, model TGPM3, is constructed of AISI 304 stainless steel, both inside and out. With a capacity of 376 liters, the workbench provides space to store supplies in a refrigerated environment directly beneath the work surface, allowing you to work on it at the same time. The refrigerated workbench operates on 230V and has a power rating of 0.33 kW. The unit is manufactured in Italy.

The cooling system is ventilated and extendable and operates fully automatically, including automatic evaporation of condensate. The door is self-closing and equipped with a magnetic door seal. The insulation consists of 60 mm of polyurethane that is free of CFCs and HCFCs. The control system is electronic, allowing you to set the temperature within the range of -2 to +8 °C.

How It Works

A ventilated cooling system blows air along the walls of the cooling workbench, distributing the temperature evenly throughout the entire interior. This prevents cold or hot spots and ensures that products cool at the same rate throughout. Automatic evaporation of condensation prevents water from pooling in the tray, which simplifies maintenance.

Application

A refrigerated workbench is used in commercial kitchens as a workstation with direct cold storage underneath, for example, for preparing meat, fish, or vegetables just before they are cooked. Because the ingredients remain within easy reach, staff do not have to keep walking to a separate cold storage room.
