The Boska Kaas-O-Maat is a cheese slicer designed for cutting whole cheeses. With its adjustable clamps, you can easily mount it on any countertop, allowing you to face the customer while you slice.
The cutting wire glides straight through soft to hard cheeses in a single motion, allowing you to work quickly and with minimal effort. In addition, the device also functions as a cutting board.
Practical Application
By first cutting a slit in the cheese with a scoring knife, you can place the cutting wire exactly into the opening. This way, you’ll get even slices without much waste.
Installation and Safety
When securing the machine to the counter, it is important that the clamps are tightly fastened. This prevents the machine from shifting while cutting. The cutting wire must always be pulled taut to ensure a smooth cut.
