An electric deep fryer is a device that uses electricity to heat a heating element suspended directly in the oil or fat. The electric fryer has a thermostat and a heating element. When you plug it in and set the desired temperature, the heating element will heat the oil. Once the oil reaches the right temperature, the thermostat automatically turns off the element. Once the temperature drops again (for example, if you put in frozen products), the element turns back on to maintain the temperature. This ensures a consistent and controlled frying time, which is essential for crispy results.
